Cuban-trained modern dancer Judith Sanchez Ruiz demonstrates some of the tendencies of modern Cuban dance, followed by a discussion with city ballet dancer Lourdes Lopez and percussionist Dafnis Prieto.

Cuban Dance is part of the series Cuban Culture: In and Out of Cuba Today. This ground breaking series of events brings together Cubans from Cuba and the Cuban Diaspora, along with other scholars, artists, writers, and performing artists for a unique and exciting overview of contemporary Cuban culture.
